Re-relation #03
Re-relation is a limited series of signed and numbered photographic prints intended as a pretext to reflect on the relationship between humans and the non-human world. We propose eight images and stories about closeness, devotion, boundaries and mutual dependencies.

The process of decommunization has freed some of the boulders from their human function of holding words commemorating victims and sacrifice. Only holes remain. Now the stone smiles.
Assuming that the boulder is a remnant of the Weichselian glaciation, the last glaciation in northern parts of Europe, its age could be between 12,000 and 115,000 years. How many times during the life of the stone will the winners of human conflicts change? How many times will the human species transform?
The photograph is part of the „How to Rejuvenate an Eagle” project appreciated by Aperture Foundation and Paris Photo in the Photo Book of the Year 2020 competition.
