The Corner series was inspired by the photography of Zbigniew Siemaszko, who captured images in the same location, with an identical frame, at the corner of Nowy Świat Street and Aleje Jerozolimskie in Warsaw between the 1950s and 1970s. It is an attempt to examine the changes taking place in society: the pace of life, the human mood reflected in everyday gestures, fashion and clothing, and, indirectly, the sense of identity we had during a time when global mass culture was playing an increasingly significant role.

The series was created in 2011.
